Where Is Your Image?

Where Is Your Image?

If Jesus is not in your life, where is your image?
Without an image, there is no shadow. And without a shadow, there is no shelter to be found.

Psalm 91:1 says:

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

A shadow only appears when there’s light and substance. Jesus is both.
He is the Light of the world (John 8:12) and the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15).
He is your keeper, your shade, your safe place (Psalm 121:5).

But if He’s not present in your life, what are you abiding under?
Temporary relief? False comforts? Broken promises?

The shadow of the Almighty is for those who dwell in His presence—those who walk with Jesus daily, love Him, follow Him, trust Him.

Today, ask yourself honestly:
Where is your image?
Let Him be the One who casts the shadow over your life—because in His shadow, there is peace, protection, and power.

“He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust.”
— Psalm 91:2

“How can I reflect Jesus’ love right now?”

This phrase invites action, encouraging individuals to embody love, compassion, and kindness in their immediate actions, just as Jesus taught. It’s a call to be present and mindful of how one’s behavior impacts others.

Here’s a real-life example:

Scenario:
You’re in a grocery store, and the person in front of you is struggling to find enough money to pay for their items.

Action:
You gently offer to cover the remaining amount with a kind smile, asking nothing in return.

Reflection:
By stepping in with compassion and generosity, you reflect Jesus’s love through selfless care for someone in need.

It could also be simple, like showing patience when someone makes a mistake or offering a kind word to someone who looks downhearted.
