Jesus the Creator: All Things Were Made Through Him

When we think about Jesus, we often think about His birth, His ministry, His death on the cross, and His resurrection. But Jesus did not begin in Bethlehem. Before the world was formed, Jesus was already there.

The Bible tells us:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” — John 1:1

John goes on to say:

“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” — John 1:3

Jesus is the Creator. The stars in the sky, the oceans, the mountains, the animals, and humanity itself were created through Him.

Colossians 1:16 declares:

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible… all things were created by him, and for him.”

This means that we are not here by accident. We were created by Jesus and for Jesus. The One who formed the universe also knows every detail about our lives.

When life feels uncertain, remember this: The Creator is still in control of His creation. The same Jesus who spoke and brought all things into being has the power to bring purpose, hope, restoration, and new life into our hearts.

Reflection

If Jesus created all things, then nothing in your life is too broken, too complicated, or too impossible for Him to restore. Trust the Creator with His creation.

A United Kingdom: The Biblical Appearance of Jesus

When Jesus appeared in Scripture, He did not come to establish a divided rule or an earthly hierarchy shaped by power struggles. Instead, His presence revealed one united Kingdom under God’s authority, a Kingdom built on truth, love, righteousness, and obedience to the Father.

From the beginning of His ministry, Jesus proclaimed, “The kingdom of God is at hand” (Mark 1:15). This Kingdom was not bound by borders, culture, or status. Jews and Gentiles, the rich and the poor, the broken and the restored were all invited into one body. Jesus stood as both King and Servant, showing that unity in God’s Kingdom flows from humility and love, not domination.

Through His teachings, miracles, death, and resurrection, Jesus revealed a Kingdom where God’s will reigns fully, on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). He called His followers to live as citizens of this united Kingdom, walking in forgiveness, justice, and peace. In Christ, division gives way to reconciliation, and separation is replaced with belonging.

The biblical appearance of Jesus reminds us that God’s Kingdom is not fragmented. It is one Kingdom, one King, and one people, united under the lordship of Christ, now and forever.
